When it comes to karaoke, doing a rap song would seem easier, right? You don’t have to actually sing. But rap can have its own challenges; you have to go at a certain cadence and there are times that you will need to spit a rapid-fire verse. You still might have a hard time doing this even if the words are right there in front of you.
If you feel REALLY confident in your rap ability, you could try Eminem’s “Rap God.” He only set a Guinness World Record for the fastest rap. Either that or his “Godzilla” song will give both your mouth and brain a workout.
Otherwise, here are 21 rap karaoke songs that are a little easier and should have you thoroughly enjoying your time up there.
1. Mama Said Knock You Out – LL Cool J
This was on his “comeback” album. It was released in 1990. You can flex your own bravado when you snarl the opening line, “Don’t call it a comeback…” and go from there.
2. Lose Yourself – Eminem
Want to get motivated? Rap this song from the 8 Mile movie soundtrack at karaoke—it’s going to make you want to go out and do things with your life afterward.
3. Can I Get A… – Jay Z
This one is great for friends, especially when a girl is in the group. The song was a big hit, and it’s from the Rush Hour soundtrack. You can even imitate Chris Tucker’s swiveling of his head from side to side to the beat.

You and a friend can show off your laid-back sides here with this classic from the 1990s.

If you are feeling silly, you could do Weird Al Yankovic’s “Amish Paradise” instead. Just make sure Coolio is not in the audience. He reportedly hates the song and any parodies of it.
7. Regulate – Warren G Featuring Nate Dogg
Don’t strain your vocal cords trying to imitate Nate Dogg’s gravelly voice if you don’t have the range. You will feel it in the morning.
8. Without Me – Eminem
Yes, Eminem made this list twice. It’s a given, seeing how popular his songs are. For a while, he was the biggest name in the rap game… and he made it known in this song. You can be a bit goofy here, too.

12. Rapper’s Delight – The Sugarhill Gang
Now you are going to go way back with this song. “Rapper’s Delight” was the genesis of the rap movement in the early 1980s. You can imagine yourself as a pioneer as you rap this song.
